Langue/langage :
English follows.
Although many of the followers will have French as their first and preferred language, the material will be in English only. The reasons are as follows: 1) many readers are unilingual English, 2) many of the references are in English and 3) to translate all the material would be quite a task.
For Whom is this Series and What is the Aim
This series is for individuals that do not have an education in economics but have an interest in the language and concepts in economics. It should be of interest to those looking to economic as an underlining function to public policy and government functions. How Will We Proceed:
Every two weeks or so I will post information/knowledge on one topic. A note will be sent by email AND the content will be on a website/blog. Participants are welcome to provide feedback and suggestions.
I presently have a list of 47 topics, but I welcome your suggestions to add to the list.
I will do the research before publishing. Some of my own thoughts and opinions will be included but they will be clearly shown as coming from me. These should trigger feedback and discussion.
My Background and What is my Base:
For those who don’t know me fully: I have an Hon. Bachelor of Commerce degree with a minor in economics, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), I am a C.G.A.-C.P.A (Certified Public Accountant. Most of my professional career was with Industry Canada. In my opinion however is the fact that I have been following this field for a number of years is more important. I have read and continue to read many books and articles on the subject. I have a passion for this so I am happy to share and discuss.
